An Introduction from a Master Luthier to the Sophisticated Guitar Aficionado.

With decades experience in the guitar industry, I hope this guitar that I have thought about for years and always wanted to build, will be a favorite to many people of all playing styles. I wanted guitarists to pick up the guitar and play it – and I mean play Jazz, Thrash Metal, Rock and Roll, R&B, etc. – and say, “Who makes this guitar? I want to play it!”

I think we have accomplished this at UNK Guitars. In all my years in this industry, I have built, repaired and played every conceivable guitar known to man, and many of them great - but none perfect.

With UNK, I tried to optimize all aspects of the Next Great American Guitar, including a newly developed neck with properly designed scale length and finger board radius leading to enhanced playability, a careful selection of body and neck proportions and materials leading to the perfect physical balance, an optimized placement and selection of high quality electronics to provide our guitar players with a complete arsenal of tone and sound options, a wide array of woods in combination with an up to date spectrum of finishes and colors giving you the looks of your choice, and last but not least our patented head stock design, with enhanced tonal characteristics.

After being in the guitar business for such a long time, having built guitars for some of the greatest players of our time, and seeing many of you daily in my shop, I honestly wish that you will have as much fun and passion playing this guitar as I had in designing and building it.
